Multiple Capability Sympathetic Detonator System for the U.S. Special Forces
There are two modes of detonation: Sympathetic and Time Delay. In Sympathetic mode, the SYDET detects nearby explosions (via acoustic sensor) and, if verified by on-board algorithms, will detonate its explosive. In time delay Time Delay mode, at a pre-set time, SYDET will detonate its explosive.
A Multiple Capability Sympathetic Detonator System is small & lightweight which will easily fit in BDU pocket. It is compatible with demolition munitions & other equipment. Furthermore it allows pre-assembled demolition packages. Moreover it facilitates less time-on-target.
